Product description
Magnesia bricks have high fire resistance and superior alkali resistance slag performance, but poor thermal shock resistance. Burnt magnesia brick is a refractory brick obtained by crushing, batching, mixing, and shaping the main raw material magnesite, and firing it at a high temperature of 1550-1600 ℃. Generally, the firing temperature of high-purity products is above 1750 ℃. Unburned magnesia bricks are obtained by adding appropriate chemical binders to magnesia sand, mixing, shaping, and drying.

Magnesia bricks are widely used as permanent linings for open hearth furnaces, electric furnace bottoms, furnace walls, converters, non-ferrous metal smelting furnaces, cement rotary kilns, heating furnaces, glass kiln regenerative chamber grid bricks, etc.
On heating furnaces, magnesium bricks are mainly used to lay the surface layer of the furnace bottom and the lower part of the soaking furnace wall, which can effectively resist the erosion of iron oxide.
