Refractory grouting material is a combination of alumina powder, silica micro powder, aluminum dihydrogen phosphate, and phosphoric acid boiled adhesive. Its main function is to fill the gap between the refractory material in the industrial furnace lining and the furnace.
Refractory grouting materials have different components and construction methods. They can be combined with cement to form a slurry, or with adhesive bonding. The methods used vary. If they are combined with cement, a certain proportion of water is added to the construction site and mixed evenly before use. For adhesive bonding, it is already made into usable materials in the production process, and can be used only by slightly stirring the precipitated part on the construction site. Alternatively, a grouting machine can be used for grouting.
In general, after filling the gaps for a few days, there will still be some precipitation. Two rounds of grouting filling are required before putting it into use. This way, the connection is tighter, and the insulation performance or protective effect of the furnace shell is better.
There are many types of fire-resistant grouting materials, and grouting materials are also used in construction. However, they are different from industrial materials because industrial materials need to be resistant to high temperatures and serve as connections. Building materials, although also used for filling, can withstand high temperature erosion and serve as reinforcement. Therefore, this type of material is different.
