The purpose of baking:
Baking is the last and most critical process in the construction of castable materials, which has a significant impact on the lifespan of the kiln. Therefore, strict control and careful operation are necessary throughout the entire baking process. The main purpose of baking is to remove moisture from the lining material during the heating process and gradually sinter it as the temperature rises.
Maintenance:
The construction site needs to be naturally cured for at least 72 hours, during which it can be exposed to the air. But the maximum storage time should not exceed three months. If the planned storage time exceeds three months, or in winter, or when the temperature is below zero degrees Celsius, please contact the manufacturer to readjust the oven plan.
Fuel and combustion system for oven
It is strictly prohibited to use wood for baking, as temperature changes cannot be controlled, which can easily lead to cracking of the furnace lining. The process from the first baking to feeding is continuous, with no gaps or cooling in between. The first baking of the furnace cannot be directly cooled down after baking at a certain temperature. If the stove wants to be baked and cooled down for a period of time before being put into use again, please contact the manufacturer to readjust the baking oven plan.
Regarding the temperature measurement thermocouple of the oven
Temperature detection refers to the atmosphere temperature between 25-50mm on the surface of the casting material. It is recommended to use six thermocouples for furnace temperature measurement, and at least three thermocouples for furnace top, wall, and bottom temperature measurement. The highest and lowest temperature areas of the furnace body are monitored.
